17 February 2023

The goal of this call is to generate transnational research and innovation projects to support capacity building for urban transformation.

More specifically, the aim is to fund projects that are building transformation capacities towards climate neutral and sustainable cities by 2030 and that rely on aesthetic perspectives and approaches in terms of design, form architecture, art and cultural heritage and new forms of governance and collaboration, as well as by engaging citizens. The consortium of 8 funding agencies from 7 EU countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania and Sweden) and European Commission offer nearly 4 m€ to launch and realise collaborative, multidisciplinary, innovative projects for private and public sector actors.
