In Belgian higher education, women are underrepresented in scientific, technological, engineering and mathematical (STEM) courses. At the same time, the labour market often struggles with a shortage of higher educated STEM profiles. In order to tackle these trends, Innoviris is again this year looking for a female ambassador who inspires women and young people in Brussels about science and technology. In order to do so, the science ambassador receives €10,000.

Are you eligible?

  • You have a degree in Exact Sciences or Technology.
  • You work in the Brussels-Capital Region.
  • You have more than 5 years professional experience in the science and/or technology field.
  • You have already undertaken at least one science awareness-raising activity.
