The DUT (Driving Urban Transitions to a sustainable future) is a partnership under Horizon Europe. The aim of the DUT call for proposals is to support transnational research and/or innovation projects addressing urban challenges to help cities in their transition to a more sustainable economy and way of operating.

You can find out more about the DUT partnership here.

The challenges are grouped into three themes known as "transition pathways":

  • Positive Energy Districts (PEDs)
  • 15-minutes city (15mC)
  • The Urban Circular Economy (UCE)

Each theme is divided up into several topics. You’ll find all the details about the Call on the following page, including information on Info Days and the Matchmaking platform to help you find project partners.

Who is eligible?

The call is open to all public and private organisations in Brussels: research organisations, universities, businesses, associations, NGOs, public authorities, etc.

The call will be launched on 2 September 2024 (Submission forms will be online by then).

Interested organisations can submit expressions of interest until 14 November 2024. The deadline for submitting the full proposal will be 24 April 2025.
